About us
A place to play poker and figure it out as you go
We run a home for the poker community at Carnegie Mellon — a place to sit down at a table, pick up the game, and have a good time doing it. Every skill level is welcome, from people who have never been dealt a hand to people who have played seriously for years.
Any skill level
Never played before? Good — plenty of our members hadn't either. Show up, and someone will walk you through the rules at the table.
Low commitment
No attendance requirements, no dues to keep up with, no obligations. Come to the meetings you want to come to and skip the ones you don't.
Optional GBMs
General body meetings are where we play, eat, and sometimes run a strategy session. They're completely optional — turn up when it suits you.
